karen t, tennis athlete, phoenix azRyan is a great trainer! He really listens to your goals and holds you accountable to meet those goals. He doesn’t use shame or “tough love” tactics like other trainers I've had. He encourages you and continues to be sure that you are making progress and makes adjustments as needed. He met and exceeded my expectations. I improved in every way. I lost weight, gained strength and endurance, moved way better, my back pain resolved and I gained a ton of confidence both as an athlete but personally as well. Also, I loved how much of a stickler he is for technique. NO INJURIES under his watch!!
Ryan is an amazing athlete and coach. He practices what he preaches and sets an example every time he's on the floor working out or coaching. Thanks Ryan!! |

Working with different trainers in past, they wouldn’t even pay attention to the movements or do any actual work. They would talk to friends and text. I was afraid trainers wouldn’t individually work with me.
Ryan always took care to stress proper movement with me and everyone else. My goals were to build lower body strength to help with knee pain, establish consistency with workouts and lose weight. Because of Ryan's programming and coaching, I have much better leg strength, balance and am more consistent getting to the gym.

jason w, police officer, wilkes barre paWhen I first started I was a little apprehensive because it was much different than how I normally train. With Ryan's program I was hitting multiple body parts every workout, gaining size and strength. I started out the program at 195lbs and ended at 203lbs that’s obviously not all muscle gain but I definitely saw a massive increase in strength and over all core strength.
I competed in a powerlifting competition and was doing standing shoulder press and wasn’t able to rep out 135 as easy I was able to do after this program. I spoke with Ryan multiple times throughout the six week program. I reached out to him about me throwing in leg workouts since the program was based on upper body. He said absolutely and we worked it out. In my powerlifting meet this past summer I squatted 430 for my final attempt and in the gym my squat PR was 455 about 3/4 of the way through this program I decided I wanted to test my Max’s again. I slammed out a 475 single on squat. I think the added core from the program definitely contributed. |

I was never a gym person. My experience with Ryan as coach and personal trainer has made the gym fun and less intimidating. His attention to detail and proper form has helped build a foundation that i can use in the future.

Ryan helped me drastically improve my gymnastic skills, my deadlift and squat have gotten much stronger, and my aerobic base has improved a ton as well.
I am so thankful and lucky that I crossed paths with Ryan when I did. I was looking to start competing in CrossFit since it was what I loved doing but I didn't know where to start or how to get there. Ryan helped me target my weaknesses physically and mentally. Through his coaching I felt valued, believed in, and knew that he had my best interest in mind. He encouraged me to sign up for any competition I wanted, even if I didn't feel "ready", and helped me prepare for them as best as I could.
After competing, my goals changed to become a Navy Rescue Swimmer. Ryan made this transition really smooth for me and his attitude never changed. He helped me shift my training to fit these new goals and always encouraged me. Even though I don't see Ryan every day like I did in Phoenix, I still look up to and aspire to be a coach like him one day. I admire and appreciate his eagerness to continue learning and improving his craft. Coaches like Ryan are few and far between.
